BYFSA Summer Fastpitch Softball League
The goal of the BYFSA Summer Fastpitch Softball League is to enable players to learn the game of fastpitch softball in a fun and stimulating environment. The main focus is on developing the skills necessary to help players succeed and be the best softball players they can be.
BYFSA Summer Fastpitch Softball League is open to all girls ages 5-18 (as of August 31 prior to current league year). We offer 4 divisions; 6U, 8U, 10U and 11UP.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
6U - Age 5-6
Recreational League - The 6U division is a training process for the players to develop fundamental skills with the maximum enjoyment for the player. This age level is being introduced to the sport and getting comfortable with bat, glove, and ball.
8U - Age 7-8
Recreational League - Focus is placed on learning and developing proper fastpitch technique.
10U - Age 9-10
Recreational League - Focus is placed on learning and developing proper fastpitch technique. Fastpitch rules may be modified to aid player development. Players will pitch every inning.
11Up - Age 11-18
Recreational League - Focus is placed on applying proper fastpitch technique. USA Softball rules apply and players will pitch every inning.
There will be a parents and coaches information meeting in May. Please check the calendar for meeting date and times.
Information about discount card fundraiser to be provided at parents meeting. Thank you for your continued support of our association!
PLAYER FEES
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION EXPIRES APRIL 15. ALL SUMMER REGISTRATIONS WILL CLOSE ON APRIL 30TH. REGISTRATION REQUESTS RECEIVED AFTER APRIL 30 MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED. LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE SUBJECT TO $25 LATE FEE.
- 6U - $50.00 early bird/$60.00
- 8U - $75.00 early bird/$100.00
- 10U - $125.00 early bird/$150.00
- 11UP - $125.00 early bird/$150.00
