The goal of the BYFSA Summer Fastpitch Softball League is to enable players to learn the game of fastpitch softball in a fun and stimulating environment. The main focus is on developing the skills necessary to help players succeed and be the best softball players they can be.
BYFSA Summer Fastpitch Softball League is open to all girls ages 5-18 (as of August 31 prior to current league year). We offer 4 divisions; 6U, 8U, 10U and 11UP.
Practices can begin week of May 19th
Games start week of June 2nd
6U - Age 5-6 Mondays June 2nd-July 7th
Recreational League - The 6U division is 6weeks of a training process for the players to develop fundamental skills with the maximum enjoyment for the player. This age level is being introduced to the sport and getting comfortable with bat, glove, and ball.
Recreational League - Focus is placed on learning and developing proper fastpitch technique.
Recreational League - Focus is placed on learning and developing proper fastpitch technique. Fastpitch rules may be modified to aid player development. Players will pitch every inning.
Recreational League - Focus is placed on applying proper fastpitch technique. USA Softball rules apply and players will pitch every inning.
Registration requests received after April 15 may not be accepted. Late registrations will be subject to $25 late fee.
Scholarship requests are considered on a case by case basis. Please send an email with your contact information to bismarckyouthfastpitch@gmail.com and someone from our board will reach out to you.
There will be parents, coordinators and coaches information meetings in May. Please check the calendar for meeting date and times.
