Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold Loses Despite Out Hitting Diamonds 12U Black 12U


Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold fell 12-7 to Diamonds 12U Black 12U on Sunday despite out-hitting them five to four. Carsen W and Paisley L each collected two hits for Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold got on the board in the top of the first inning after Hadley F singled, and TinLee S walked, each scoring one run.

Diamonds 12U Black 12U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring nine runs on one hit to take a 9-2 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Autumn S that drove in two.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold made the score 9-4 in the top of the second inning when Paisley hit a solo home run to center field, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Diamonds 12U Black 12U added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when an error scored two runs, and one run scored on another play.

Autumn started in the circle for Diamonds 12U Black 12U. They surrendered three hits and five runs (four earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking five.

Hadley drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold had patience at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. TinLee and Lily O led the team with two walks each.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold Triumph Over Eastside Elite 12U


Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold were victorious against Eastside Elite 12U 11-8 on Sunday.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Hadley F singled, scoring one run, Rawling B drew a walk, scoring one run, Kyen H tripled, scoring three runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold added one run in the second. Carsen W singled, making the score 7-0.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold added one run in the third. Paisley L grounded out, making the score 8-0.

Eastside Elite 12U tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a ground out by #18, a walk by Alaina R, a walk by #22, and a wild pitch.

In the bottom of the fifth, Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold broke up the tie when TinLee S grounded out, scoring two runs. Then a triple by Rawling followed to extend the lead to 11-8.

Paisley led things off in the circle for Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking none. #22 stepped in the circle first for Eastside Elite 12U. They allowed two hits and six runs over one inning, striking out none and walking six. Hadley appeared in relief for Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold.

Kyen led Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The left fielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Carsen led Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold with two hits in three at bats. Maggie N paced Bismarck Sparks 12U Gold with two walks. Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue could not hold onto the lead against Diamonds 12U Black 12U on Sunday and fell 10-8 despite leading by four at one point.


Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue got on the board in the top of the first inning after Claire L walked, and Elle T grounded out, each scoring one run.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue added two runs in the second after Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue scored on a wild pitch.

Diamonds 12U Black 12U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on four hits to take a 5-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to center field by Zavrina P that drove in three.

In the top of the third inning, Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue went back into the lead after Kealee I walked, and Lydia A stole home, each scoring one run.

Brooklyn H singled, which helped Diamonds 12U Black 12U tie the game at six in the bottom of the third.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue took the lead in the top of the fourth. Elle singled, scoring one run, to give Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue the edge, 7-6.

Diamonds 12U Black 12U made the score 10-7 in the bottom of the fourth after an error scored one run, Ahna S tripled, scoring two runs, and Autumn S grounded out, scoring one run.

Claire began the game for Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue. The righty gave up seven hits and six runs over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Ahna led things off in the circle for Diamonds 12U Black 12U. The righty allowed three hits and eight runs over five innings, striking out 11 and walking 11.

Elle led Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue with one run batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating 11 walks for the game. Josie T, Brekyn T, and Kealee led the team with two walks each. Raelynn R, Tatum S, Josie, Brekyn, and Lydia each stole multiple bases for Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue. Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue stole 16 bases in the game.

Diamonds 12U Black 12U accumulated 11 hits in the game. Zavrina set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Diamonds 12U Black 12U with three hits in three at bats. Pearl M and Ahna each collected multiple hits for Diamonds 12U Black 12U. Pearl stole three bases. Diamonds 12U Black 12U ran wild on the base paths, amassing eight stolen bases for the game. Diamonds 12U Black 12U were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ahna made the most plays with one.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue couldn't keep up with Eastside and fell 12-0 on Sunday.


Eastside got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Emerson doubled, Sophia singled, and Alaina doubled, each scoring one run.

A single by Kalli extended the Eastside lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the second inning.

Eastside scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. Gentry singled, scoring two runs, Bristol drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Josie T stepped in the circle first for Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue. The starting pitcher surrendered eight hits and nine runs over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking four. Emerson stepped in the circle first for Eastside. They gave up two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Josie and Brekyn T were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue. Josie stole two bases.

Eastside collected 10 hits in the game. Emerson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Eastside in hits. Kalli collected two hits for Eastside in three at bats. Eastside had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Bristol and Alaina led the team with two bases on balls each.

Bismarck Sparks 12U Blue play at home on Friday against West Fargo Fusion Blue 12U 12U in their next game.
